Gustavo Bondoni
Gustavo Bondoni was born in Argentina, which, he believes, makes him one of the few — if not the only — Argentinean SF writers writing primarily in English. He moved to the US at the age of three because his father worked for a multinational company that bounced him around the world every three years. Miami, Zurich, Cincinnati. He only made it back to Buenos Aires at the age of twelve, by which time he was not quite an American kid, not quite a European kid, and definitely not Argentinean! Made adapting to high school life interesting, to say the least. He survived high school, however, and went on to get an engineering degree which he never used in his working life as a Marketer. He discovered fiction writing at an early age, and found it was a great way to relax after days of writing copy strategy and looking at Excel spreadsheets. The road to publication was not too long — the first short story he ever wrote with publication in mind was accepted by Jupiter SF in Great Britain, and has since been reprinted three times. But rejections, sadly, still occur with unfortunate regularity. But that's a writer's life. He's still far from being able to make a living from his writing, but inching closer to that dream every day. He does general writing duties for Daverana Enterprises.
